Mild and delicate with sweet floral characteristics. Bred in the US from east Kent Golding. Golding hops consist of a group of traditional English aroma varieties which have been cultivated since 1790. Several selections now exist including Cobbs, Early Bird, East Well, Bramling, Canterbury and Mathon, some of which are now being grown in the U. S. All Goldings are recognized as having a most typical English aroma. Used for: Bitter Substitutions: Fuggle, Willamette, UK East Kent Golding, Styrian Golding
