Mash

The recipe mash.

In practice, the order which you do these is more likely to be the following.

1. Choose a mash profile.
2. Tweak the mash steps to your liking.
3. Use the title/chart once finished to guide your mash.

Title

Once you've chosen your mash profile, a title and short description will appear at the top of the section.

After the profile has been chosen, you'll see a chart visualising the steps below the title.

Edit your mash steps on the Mash Steps table.

You can see there are 4 sections to the table above, but only 2 steps, this is due to the ramp time (the time it takes to reach that temperature). Not all brewers will be doing step mashes, so may have a single infusion, thus no ramp.

Mash Profiles

Click on the Mash Profiles Table button to view preset mash profiles.

Find the profile you want, and click the button to add it.
